Dr. Niu’s professional expertise includes chemistry, material sciences, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, food science, renewable energy, machinery, medical devices, autonomous vehicles, etc.
Before becoming a patent attorney, Dr. Niu worked as a scientist at Pfizer’s UK R&D headquarters. She then trained and worked as a patent attorney at one of Europe’s largest intellectual property firms, and subsequently worked at one of the UK’s longest-standing intellectual property firms. Dr. Niu has represented many internationally renowned clients and trade names, as well as universities, research institutions, SMEs and individual inventors.
